Blood Bowl is a Fantasy Football game created by Jervis Johnson for the British games company Games Workshop (but now under the aegis of their Specialist Games division) as a parody of American Football.^[1] The game was first released in 1987 and has been re-released in new editions since. Blood Bowl is set in an alternate version of the Warhammer Fantasy setting, populated by traditional fantasy elements such as human warriors, goblins, dwarves, elves, orcsand trolls.

Gameplay

Blood Bowl is a two-player, turn-based board game that typically uses 28 mm miniatures to represent a contest between two teams on a playing field. A board containing a grid overlay represents the field. Using dice, cards, and counters, the players attempt to score higher than each other by entering the opponent's end zone with a player who possesses the ball.

The "Blood" in Blood Bowl is represented by the violent actions available to players. Game play is based on a hybrid of American Football and Rugby. Players may attempt to injure or maim the opposition in order to make scoring easier by reducing the number of enemy players on the field.

The player racesare drawn from the ranks of fantasy races and have characteristics that reflect the abilities of those races. Elves tend to be agile and good at scoring, while Dwarfs and Orcs are more suited to a grinding, physical style of play. Players are also divided up into positions suited to their role on the field, including Throwers, Catchers, and Linemen, although many teams field different creatures entirely for different positions.

In league play, players gain additional skills and abilities based on their accumulation of experience points. Players face potential injury or even death on the field throughout their careers. Teams improve by the purchase of off-field staff such as cheerleaders, assistant coaches, and apothecaries. Disparity between team values is offset by the purchase of ad hoc star players or mercenaries, as well as bribes and additional temporary support staff, such as wizards or a halfling cook.

Anna is a psychological Horror Video Game released for Microsoft Windows on July 16, 2012 in Europe and September 21, 2012 in North America. It was also released for Mac OS X on November 9, 2012. Set in an abandoned sawmill nestled high in the Italian mountains, Anna challenges the player to uncover horrific clues and use them to solve Puzzles related to your character�s dark past. The player�s behavior does not only determine the mental health of the main character but can also change locations and unveil new secrets leading to different endings. On April 13, 2013 Extended Edition was released which added new environments, puzzles, user interface, music, improved graphics, and a new character.

The Storyline of Anna concerns an amnesiac young man who dreams of a sawmill in the mountains near his town. He decides to go there to find out its connection to his missing memories and a woman named "Anna" who seems to be calling out for him, and enters the house by solving puzzles in the garden. He becomes aware that the house is haunted after seeing several strange phenomena.

As the protagonist explores, he begins to hear voices, which belong to himself and the eponymous Anna. Through these he discovers that he was in a relationship with Anna, who he met in a forest while injured. He also learns of a woman who lived in the house, who was both Mother Nature and Anna herself in disguise. However, the voices also reveal truths about him; he sacrificed children and stole statues to summon Anna and keep her with him.

The Games has three different endings; in an inversion of the norm, the more effort that is put into achieving an ending, the less optimistic the conclusion will be. In the first ending, the protagonist concludes that Anna was burnt as a witch and leaves the house, vowing never to return. In the second ending, the protagonist reminisces about Anna, realizes that he cannot live without her, and opens himself up to possession by her. In the third ending, the protagonist remembers killing his real wife after she defiled Anna's statue, and finds the statue, along with dolls of his children, in a small chamber. As the tunnel to the chamber caves in, he realizes that he will become immortal and stay in the chamber forever, but he does not care because he has "Anna" with him.
